Missile Circus Studios is an independent game development studio that is currently focused on making mobile games powered by the Unity game engine. We aim to make fun and challenging games with simple mechanics and ridiculous situations.

Game Description

Lost at sea, all you have is a cat and an unlimited supply of bacon while defending yourself from waves of hungry creatures.

History

Bacons On A Boat is a game that was accidentally created from a different project during a moment of developer burnout. While testing a feature that would randomly generate film names for a filmmaking simulator, quite a few of them made us laugh. One of them was Bacons On A Boat. Joking about how simple it could be as a mobile game, a rough design was created by the end of the night. Putting the filmmaking simulator on hold, we began working on what was thought to be an easier project. After countless iterations and many lessons learned about project management, the game was barely playable on our phones, and this was just the beginning of Bacons On A Boat.

Features

COOK BACON

Cook bacon and eat it to stay alive. Always keep an eye on your bacon because eating raw or under-cooked bacon will hurt you. Burnt bacon won’t hurt you but it won’t help you that much either.

DEFEND YOUR BACON

You won’t be the only hungry one on the ocean. Hungry birds and sea creatures will be after your bacon, and if you are out of bacon they will attack you instead.

ALL NATURAL BACON SOUNDS

All cooking sounds were hand recorded in the developer’s kitchen on a hot frying pan.

CATS WITH SPECIAL ATTACKS

Having a cat as your companion, they can clear the screen of enemies by being able to shoot lasers, summon lightning, rain fireballs, and shake the earth.

SMACK SHARKS IN STYLE

Those dumb sharks won’t know what hit them when you show up with a paintbrush themed oar. Upgrade your weapons, boats, and cats with the gold and diamonds you earn.

PIECE BY PIECE

Collect map pieces by completing goals to eventually put the whole map together and find your way back home.
